Flores y plantas son, durante la primavera y el verano, el motivo de muchas ferias y fiestas alrededor del mundo: concursos de rosas, jornadas gastronómicas, exposiciones de flores, talleres de jardinería, adorno de patios y balcones, paseos y excursiones para conocer el entorno…
En Cataluña estas celebraciones empiezan a partir de Sant Jordi, a finales de abril, y las fiestas llegan a su máximo esplendor sobretodo con el Corpus Christi, que este año cae muy temprano, el 26 de mayo.
